We have just passed the halfway mark for 2016. My, how times flies! As July says goodbye, say hello to the end of summer in August. Many of us will either start school, return to school, or begin a new quarter for work. We all began 2016 with goals that we planned to achieve by this time—yet here we are wondering how we can get everything done in these last five months. Well, fear not! We have reviewed a few resources you can use to make all of your productivity dreams come true. Here are five apps that will keep you on top of your daily tasks and keep you on track with your goals:
The collaboration and camaraderie of open-plan offices are great, but the noise level can sometimes get in the way of getting stuff done. I've worked in open-plan offices for the past four years and have often turned to white noise to achieve auditory privacy. Recently, I came across a fabulous website called myNoise.net that is truly the best when it comes to productivity-enhancing sound generators.
There are a few times in life where we almost always feel like we got the most out of our time spent. For example, when we exercise, we reap the benefits of burning calories, strengthening and toning muscles, and generally feeling good from endorphins. Perhaps, like me, you use said internet for various reasons—information to add to a lesson for the class you’re teaching, concepts to bring up and explore in a product design meeting, reference material for creative projects, hot men and kittens. (Yes, it’s a thing.)
A sleeker interface. Faster load times. Search for fellow members. And more. That’s right, folks, it’s here! Version 2.2.1 of cove's app is now available on the App Store and Google Play. This latest release introduces several much-anticipated features. Here's a comprehensive look at what to expect.
When working at a place defined as a ‘productive space,’ you're always on the lookout for the best productivity tools. For cove’s team, we’re very mobile and always have a lot to do (Can I get an amen for that #startuplife?!). Managing our to-do lists can be cumbersome, and my teammates go about it in different ways. So I sat down with a few of them to learn more about a few of the best apps for to-do lists: Trello vs. Asana.
